| During the first years of FCSS, the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) were contracted by the local health unit to provide a comprehensive home health care service program throughout the region. The County was required to cover travel costs for services in the area. Although VON is no longer contracted for this service, the FCSS Board still funds VON sponsored health and wellness clinics for senior citizens in the rural areas. |
